Ohio High School Basketball - Genoa Area nips Woodmore
November 28, 2023: Genoa, OH 43430 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) and the visiting Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH), saw Genoa Area's basketball squad hold off Woodmore by a count of 46-45.
With the victory, Genoa Area upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Eastwood (Pemberville, OH) to play the Eagles in a Northern Buckeye challenge on Friday, December 1. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Eastwood lost 54-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbold (Archbold, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Lakota Raiders (Kansas, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge, on Thursday, November 30. Woodmore will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
