Iowa High School Basketball - Roland-Story tops Gilbert
November 28, 2023: Gilbert, IA 50105 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) and the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), saw Roland-Story's basketball squad knock off Gilbert by a count of 65-56.
With the victory, Roland-Story upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to West Marshall (State Center, IA) to play the Trojans in a Heart of Iowa challenge on Friday, December 1. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. West Marshall won 59-53 in their recent non-league challenge against South Hardin (Eldora, IA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a Raccoon River challenge, on Friday, December 1. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 51-47 non-league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
