North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Christian Academy nips Providence Day

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the High Point Christian Academy Cougars (High Point, NC) and the visiting Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC), saw High Point Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Providence Day by a count of 40-35.

With the victory, High Point Christian Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to play the Trojans in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge on Friday, December 1. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Wesleyan Christian Academy won 70-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Covenant Day (Matthews, NC)

Next up, the Chargers play the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Providence Day will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Ravens come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 73-28 non-league loss to Grace Christian (Sanford, NC).
