Missouri High School Basketball - Ruskin ripped by Lafayette
November 28, 2023: Kansas City, MO 64134 The Lafayette Fighting Irish basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Ruskin Golden Eagles to 28 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Platte County for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Lafayette will meet a Pirates team coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to Truman (Independence, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.
The Golden Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Osage (Independence, MO). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Fort Osage was routed by Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
