Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR), 52-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Morrilton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Devil Dogs travel to Ozark (Ozark, AR) to play the Hillbillies in a 4A Region 4 bout on Friday, December 1. The Hillbillies come into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Rams play the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Lakeside will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 57-29 non-league win over Sylvan Hills (Sherwood, AR).
