November 28, 2023: Lamesa, TX 79331 The Lamesa Tornadoes basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Permian Panthers to 28 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Post for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Lamesa will battle a Antelopes team coming off a 33-31 non-league loss to Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Antelopes record now stands at 1-5.
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Montwood triumphed over Socorro (El Paso, TX), 44-28, in a league contest.
