November 28, 2023: Mt. Vernon, MO 65712 The West Plains Zizzers basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Mt. Vernon Mountaineers to 18 in the Zizzers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Zizzers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan-Rogersville for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. West Plains will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 77-54 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
The Mountaineers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon (Lebanon, MO). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Lebanon was routed by Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO), 77-54, in a non-league contest.
