In Tuesday's non-league outing, the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH), by a margin of 46-44.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Ontario (Mansfield, OH). The Warriors go into the Mid-Ohio outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Ontario was tipped by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH), 36-31, in a non-league outing.
