In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Novato Hornets (Novato, CA) basketball squad edged the host Richmond Oilers (Richmond, CA), by a margin of 46-41.

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Credo (Rohnert Park, CA). The Gryphon go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Credo held off Tomales (Tomales, CA), 34-17, in a non-league outing.
