Virginia High School Basketball - Eastern Montgomery tipped by Fort Chiswell
November 28, 2023: Elliston, VA 24087 The Fort Chiswell Pioneers basketball team scored 20 points and held the host Eastern Montgomery Mustangs to 16 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn for a non-league game on Friday, December 1. Fort Chiswell will face a Eagles team coming off a 48-7 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Eastern Montgomery moves to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, December 1. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 1-0. Giles won 62-25 in their recent non-league game against Radford (Radford, VA)
