California High School Basketball - Alhambra can't hold off Ayala
November 28, 2023: Chino Hills, CA 91709 The Ayala Bulldogs basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Alhambra Moors to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Canada for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Ayala will battle a Spartans team coming off a 63-24 non-league win over Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-1.
The Moors (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sierra Vista was nudged by La Canada (La Canada, CA), 63-24, in a non-league contest.
