California High School Basketball - Gridley holds off Bear River
November 28, 2023: Gridley, CA 95948 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA) and the visiting Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), saw Gridley's basketball squad hold off Bear River by a tally of 43-36.
With the victory, Gridley improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to confront the Miners in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Yreka won 62-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Weed (Weed, CA)
Next up, the Bruins confront the Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Bear River will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Wildfires come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 49-29 non-league win over Valley Christian (Roseville, CA).
