The Foothill Cougars basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Corning Cardinals to 13 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Placer for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Foothill will battle a Hillmen team coming off a 64-41 non-league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Hillmen record now stands at 0-1.

The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Willows (Willows, CA). The Honkers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
