North Carolina High School Basketball - Elkin tops Union Grove Christian
November 28, 2023: Elkin, NC 28621 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) and the visiting Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC), saw Elkin's basketball squad knock off Union Grove Christian by a count of 40-24.
With the victory, Elkin upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Buckin' Elks travel to Forbush (East Bend, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Forbush lost 43-37 in their recent non-league challenge against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Patriots play the North Hills Christian Eagles (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 4. Union Grove Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
