Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC), 51-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lexington upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Davie (Mocksville, NC) to play the War Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The War Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Davie won 72-45 in their recent non-league bout against North Davidson (Lexington, NC)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Glenn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cowboys come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 60-42 non-league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC).
