Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge topped by North
November 28, 2023: Glendale, AZ 85310 The North Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions to 39 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Mountain for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. North will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-0.
The Mountain Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Bruins come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Browne prevailed over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ), 65-38, in a non-league contest.
