Illinois High School Basketball - Antioch held off by McHenry
November 28, 2025: Antioch, IL 60002 In Friday's non-league test, the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) basketball squad got by the host Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL), by a tally of 49-43.
The Warriors now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mundelein for a non-league bout on Saturday, November 29. McHenry will play a Mustangs team coming off a 57-43 non-league loss to Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Antioch falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Sequoits travel to Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to encounter the Zee-Bees in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 2. The Zee-Bees come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Zion-Benton lost 68-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Thornwood (South Holland, IL)
