North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman can't hold off Burlington Christian Academy
November 28, 2025: Mooresville, NC 28117 Burlington Christian Academy Royals (Burlington, NC) boosters were thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), 78-77 in a non-league game.
The Royals now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Greensboro Day School for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 2. Burlington Christian Academy will confront a Bengals team coming off a 66-44 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Lake Norman falls to 1-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league outing on Saturday, November 29. The Mavericks enter the outing with a record of 1-3. Mallard Creek lost 95-66 in their recent non-league outing against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)
