Illinois High School Basketball - Thornridge bested by Plainfield East
November 28, 2025: Dolton, IL 60419 Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), 76-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Plainfield East advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bengals travel to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to battle the Saxons in a non-league contest on Monday, December 1. The Saxons go into the contest with a record of 2-1. Schaumburg won 57-43 in their recent non-league contest against Aurora East (Aurora, IL)
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Corliss Trojans (Chicago, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 2. Thornridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 57-43 non-league loss to Simeon (Chicago, IL).
