In Friday's non-league game, the Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) football team edged the visiting Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX), by a score of 41-37.

In their next game, the Punchers face the Refugio Bobcats (Refugio, TX) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 5. Mason will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 12-0 record after their 40-13 non-league win over Ganado (Ganado, TX).

With the defeat, Kenedy drops to 10-3 on the campaign.
