The Riverton Hawks trounced the host Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon Knights basketball squad by a final score of 40-19 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm (Niantic, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 1. Riverton will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 58-39 league win over Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL).

With the loss, Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon falls to 1-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Ridgeview (Colfax, IL) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, December 1.
