November 28, 2025: Marianna, AR 72360 In Friday's non-league test, the Lee Trojans (Marianna, AR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Central Cougars (West Helena, AR), by a score of 49-16.
The Trojans now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to DeWitt for a non-league bout on Monday, December 1. Lee will play a Dragons team coming off a 51-36 non-league win over Murfreesboro (Murfreesboro, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Drew Central (Monticello, AR) to encounter the Pirates in a 3A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, December 9. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
