California High School Basketball - La Serna beaten by South
November 28, 2025: Whittier, CA 90605 The South Spartans were victorious over the host La Serna Lancers basketball team by a margin of 42-22 in Friday's non-league game.
The Spartans now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Walnut for a non-league game on Saturday, November 29. South will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to Poly (Riverside, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, La Serna falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league outing on Thursday, December 11. The Spartans enter the outing with a record of 2-2.
