In Monday's non-league outing, the Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), by a margin of 52-22.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH). The Freddies go into the Knox Morrow outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Fredericktown smashed Danville (Danville, OH), 52-42, in a league outing.
