Louisiana High School Basketball - Slidell fells Mt. Carmel
November 29, 2021: Slidell, LA 70458 Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA), 44-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Slidell upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to West Jefferson (Harvey, LA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 1. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 4-2. West Jefferson won 55-30 in their recent non-league bout against Terrebonne (Houma, LA)
Next up, the Cubs clash with the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 41-35 non-league win over Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA).
