November 29, 2022: Wells, TX 75976 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wells Pirates (Wells, TX) and the visiting Broaddus Bulldogs (Broaddus, TX), saw Wells's basketball squad overcome Broaddus by a tally of 60-52.
With the victory, Wells improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Huntington (Huntington, TX) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 1. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Huntington lost 37-28 in their recent non-league battle against Douglass (Douglass, TX)
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hemphill (Hemphill, TX). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Hemphill prevailed over Zavalla (Zavalla, TX), 69-22, in a league battle.
