Edinburg North Cougars (Edinburg, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX), 66-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edinburg North upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Cougars host Palmview (La Joya, TX) to play the Lobos in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Lobos go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Palmview won 60-37 in their recent non-league bout against Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. San Benito will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Coyotes go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 72-69 non-league win over Sharyland (Mission, TX).
