Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard South holds off Hinsdale South
November 29, 2022: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), saw Glenbard South's basketball squad hold off Hinsdale South by a tally of 54-49.
With the victory, Glenbard South improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host West Chicago (West Chicago, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a Upstate Eight challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-6. West Chicago lost 59-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold challenge, on Friday, December 2. Hinsdale South will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL).
