November 29, 2022: Bucyrus, OH 44820 The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) basketball knocked off the host Wynford Royals (Bucyrus, OH), 63-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chieftains (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Mohawk (Sycamore, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Mohawk notched a victory over Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 80-40, in a non-league test.
The Royals now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Upper Sandusky for a Northern 10 test on Saturday, December 3. Wynford will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 72-63 non-league loss to Galion (Galion, OH). The Rams record now stands at 0-2.
