November 29, 2022: Spencerville, MD 20868 Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets (Spencerville, MD), 54-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Maryland School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Orioles host Cumberland Valley Christian (Chambersburg, PA) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Cumberland Valley Christian won 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against Highland View Academy (Hagerstown, MD)
Next up, the Hornets play the Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) in a Potomac Valley bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Spencerville Adventist Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wildebeests go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 88-57 non-league loss to Landon (Bethesda, MD).
