The McMullen County Cowboys basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Poteet Aggies to 39 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jourdanton for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1.

The Aggies (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Orange Grove was routed by Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX), 66-42, in a non-league contest.
