Georgia High School Basketball - Mount Vernon crushes McNair

Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 78-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA) to clash with the WolfPack in a A D1 Region 6B bout on Friday, December 2. The WolfPack go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Whitefield Academy lost 63-32 in their recent non-league bout against Decatur (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Duluth Wildcats (Duluth, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. McNair will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 47-44 non-league win over Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA).
