The Newcomb Skyhawks basketball team scored 92 points and held the host Northwest Falcons to 22 in the Skyhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montezuma-Cortez for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Newcomb will battle a Panthers team coming off a 84-66 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Navajo Pine was routed by Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 70-24, in a non-league contest.
