Ohio High School Basketball - St. Paul can't hold off Vermilion
November 29, 2022: Vermilion, OH 44089 The Vermilion Sailors basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting St. Paul Flyers to 45 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sailors now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Black River for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 1. Vermilion will battle a Pirates team coming off a 66-49 non-league win over St. Peter's (Mansfield, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 2-0.
The Flyers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mapleton (Ashland, OH). The Mounties enter the Firelands contest with a 1-1 record.
