Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cuba City tops Belleville
November 29, 2022: Cuba City, WI 53807 Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Belleville Wildcats (Belleville, WI), 70-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cuba City upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cubans travel to Darlington (Darlington, WI) to play the Redbirds in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities bout on Friday, December 2. The Redbirds come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Darlington won 59-39 in their recent non-league bout against River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Benton Zephyrs (Benton, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Belleville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Zephyrs come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 68-43 non-league loss to Galena (Galena, IL).
