Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX), 52-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Big Spring upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Steers host Cooper (Abilene, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Cooper won 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Greenwood (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Midland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 73-62 non-league loss to New Home (New Home, TX).
