The Bloomington Purple Raiders basketball team (Bloomington, IL), was toppled 40-25 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Metamora Redbirds (Metamora, IL)

The Redbirds now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Mid-Illini battle on Thursday, December 1. Metamora will confront a Panthers team coming off a 64-36 non-league win over Normal West (Normal, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
