November 29, 2022: Escondido, CA 92029 The Del Lago Academy Firebirds basketball team (Escondido, CA), dropped 37-20 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Preuss UCSD Tritons (La Jolla, CA)
The Tritons now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 1. Preuss UCSD will battle a Eagles team coming off a 30-24 non-league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
The Firebirds (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA). The Cobras come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Chula Vista Learning Community Charter dropped by Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA), 28-17, in a non-league battle.
