Georgia High School Basketball - St. Pius X Catholic tops Jefferson
November 29, 2022: Jefferson, GA 30549 St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA), 61-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Pius X Catholic upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden Lions travel to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 5-1.
Next up, the Dragons play the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The War Eagles come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 71-39 non-league loss to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
