Mississippi High School Basketball - New Albany fells Myrtle
November 29, 2022: Myrtle, MS 38650 New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Myrtle Hawks (Myrtle, MS), 51-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Albany upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to East Union (Blue Springs, MS) to clash with the Urchins in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Urchins go into the bout with a record of 5-3. East Union lost 47-39 in their recent non-league bout against West Union (Myrtle, MS)
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Myrtle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 67-41 non-league loss to New Site (New Site, MS).
