November 29, 2022: Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA), 20-12 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Santa Margarita upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Portola (Irvine, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Portola won 45-16 in their recent non-league game against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA)
With the defeat, Esperanza moves to 2-2 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Portola (Irvine, CA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 6-1.
