New Mexico High School Basketball - Valencia nips Del Norte
November 29, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87110 Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 55-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Valencia upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Knights play the Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Del Norte will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 43-37 non-league loss to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
