Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars face the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Norco will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 1-1 non-league Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA).

The Trojans now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Centennial for a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 1. Hillcrest will face a Huskies team coming off a 2-2 non-league California (Whittier, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 0-0.
