Louisiana High School Basketball - Basile ripped by Sacred Heart
November 29, 2023: Ville Platte, LA 70586 The Sacred Heart Trojans basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Basile Bearcats to 33 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ville Platte for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Sacred Heart will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 77-61 non-league loss to Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
The Bearcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA). The Fighting Blue Jays enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, St. Edmund triumphed over Central Private (Baker, LA), 33-29, in a non-league contest.
