The Fernley Vaqueros basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Reed Raiders to 51 in the Vaqueros non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Vaqueros now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hug for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Fernley will battle a Hawks team coming off a 59-42 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.

The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Fairmont Prep was nudged by Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA), 68-65, in a non-league contest.
