Oregon High School Basketball - Knappa can't hold off Neah-Kah-Nie
November 29, 2023: Astoria, OR 97103 The Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Knappa Loggers to 53 in the Pirates non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vernonia for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Neah-Kah-Nie will battle a Loggers team coming off a 75-34 non-league loss to Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR). The Loggers record now stands at 0-1.
The Loggers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Warrenton (Warrenton, OR). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Warrenton edged Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR), 51-34, in a non-league contest.
