Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sandy Valley Sidewinders (Sandy Valley, NV) and the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), saw Sandy Valley's basketball squad hold off Laughlin by a count of 50-43.

With the victory, Sandy Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sidewinders host Baker (Baker, CA) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
