Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton Academy nudges Christ the King
November 29, 2023: West Chicago, IL 60185 Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL), 36-33 in a league bout.
With the win, Wheaton Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Gladiators clash with the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Christ the King will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 43-10 non-league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL).
