Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA), 43-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oscar Smith upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Grizzlies in a Southeastern bout on Friday, December 1. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Falcons play the Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach bout, on Friday, December 1. Cox will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Stallions go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 49-38 league win over Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA).
