In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a decisive 78-15 triumph over the Mountain Island Charter Raptor.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 5. Union Academy will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 68-12 non-league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).

With the defeat, Mountain Island Charter moves to 1-2 on the year. The Raptor travel to Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to meet the Stallions in a non-league match on Friday, December 1.
